The Importance of an Effective Thank You Page on Your Rehab Website
Thank you pages are more than saying “thanks” for a form submission. They are opportunities to build connections with leads, provide additional information, and measure the success of your campaigns and web presence. Having optimized thank you pages is one of the easiest ways to further connect with potential leads.
Reasons why you need thank you pages on your rehab website
Here is a list of reasons why developing effective thank you pages is important for your drug and alcohol treatment center:
Creates a connection
A simple confirmation of a form submission communicates information, but it is not personal and does not help build a relationship with your prospective client. You can use a thank you page to express your thanks and reenforce why your rehab center is the right choice for them. This helps to build rapport and signifies respect.
Encourages further action
Form submissions are a great way to gather lead information, but you should also use the opportunity to encourage further action. A thank you page can encourage the user to take other actions they are already primed to take, extending engagement.
Builds trust with leads
You can use your thank you page to display testimonials and other pieces of social credibility to help encourage your lead to take the next step and to demonstrate how your facility is right for them. Include testimonials that align with the action the lead just took. For example, if a form is targeted to loved ones of those with addiction, display a testimonial from the parents and spouses of previous clients. Try to choose testimonials that demonstrate the key results or main features of your program to help promote the unique value of your facility.
Another way to build trust is to inform the lead about what happens next. For example, if they submitted a form to gain more information or speak with a representative, you can confirm their request is received and inform them someone from your office will contact them within 24 hours. By reaffirming the next action, you can prevent confusion and help them know what to anticipate.
Helps with analytics and tracking
Creating a thank you page is one of the best ways to track conversions from your website. When you create a thank you page, you also have the opportunity to trace the conversion back to other pages of the website or referral or social sites, helping you to optimize your overall online presence.
Provides more information
If a lead has made it to your thank you page, chances are they are interested in more information. You can use the thank you page as an opportunity to direct them to your blog, social media pages, or other relevant pages of your website. Use the opportunity to further educate them about what they want to know and think about what will be helpful for them to review before a representative contacts them.
Recap: For an effective thank you page, be sure to include the following:
Confirmation of the action
Thank you statement
Testimonials
Explanation of what happens next
Navigation bar
… and remember to set up your analytics and conversion tracking for the page!
Tips:
Choose an effective URL. When creating the URL for a thank you page after a form submission, you can choose something simple yet functional like www.yourwebsite.com/thank-you. However, if you are creating a thank you page for something more specific, you can customize that URL to match that of the landing page. For instance, if you have a form to sign up for an event, the landing page for the form can be www.yourwebsite.com/yourevent and the thank you page can be www.yourwebsite.com/yourevent-registration-success.
Include the navigation menu. While an effective landing page tries to keep a lead on the page until they complete the desired action, including the navigation bar on your thank you page can encourage your lead to explore your website and learn more about your organization.
