Power in Numbers
If you missed it, MHN is terminating contracts for many behavioral health facilities, providing no exact reasoning. Whether your facility is currently being affected by this or not, we are asking all Rehab Owners Community members to join us in advocating on behalf of the behavioral health community as a whole.
How the ROC Community Can Make a Difference
We are gathering an official list of every individual or treatment facility that would like to participate in the 'MHN Coalition of the Willing’ as a response to the terminations going on in California.
AGG and ROC will gather information (with your help) to draft a response letter on behalf of as many providers as we can.
This coalition will be taking a multi-faceted approach to this advocacy coalition.
Education – Our goal is to make individuals in California aware of what is going on, how to navigate it, and how to be involved (if desired).
Payor Awareness – As a team, we will stay true to our mission and advocate for what we believe in. Remember that there is power in numbers, and we want to recognize the end goal payors and providers (should) have: Helping more people recover.
Political Pressure – We will use a PR approach targeting more local and national politicians' eyes on this case and coalition through media and news outlets.
